Bring Ed Out to Your School or Organization?
We use an evidence-based approach that supports the kids with deep feelings and impulsive behaviors. We involve the whole school community - including parents! Our supports are cultural grounded and honor the diverse backgrounds of students and staff.
Partners We’ve Worked With
Power without Struggle
Learn how to end power struggles with your kids. You’ll learn the root of power struggles, how to prevent them from occurring, and how to remain calm when they happen. This workshop includes:
The need for significance: why power struggles happen
Filling your kid’s significance bucket
Understanding your own power triggers and responses to threat
Preventing power struggles & Navigating the tension
We Don't Talk About Triggers
Do you notice that certain child behaviors have you wanting to yell, punish, or walk away, while others incite very little reaction from you? Do you notice that one child triggers you more than another? Triggers point to our unhealed wounds, and wow our kids are good at helping us find them. This workshop uses the characters from the movie Encanto to identify our triggers and our go-to reactions. You'll learn some techniques to recognize when you are triggered, stop the dysregulation process, and advocate for your needs based on your reaction type.
And yes, we'll have a little sing-a-long. You are encouraged to watch Encanto in preparation for this workshop, but that is not required.
